hyundai i 20 cross (new)

The i20 Cross differs from the regular Elite i20 in a lot of ways. Externally, the cross version gets you roof rails, skid plates, body cladding and new look alloy diamond cut wheels. We also feel that Hyundai might raise the overall ground clearance of the car and make the suspension a bit stiffer than the current version of the Elite i20. The i20 Cross might also get projector headlamps along with branding of the Cross all around the car. We may also see LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) under the headlamps of the car. The lower front-bumper of the car will be changed accordingly and will share a lot more aggressive look than the Elite i20's premium looks. The rear may remain the same as the Elite i20 but with work done to the lower bumper of the Cross version.

Hyundai will plonk the same engine options that are currently being offered with the Elite i20. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre four-cylinder block whihc churns a maximum of 83 PS and 144 Nm of maximum torque., while the diesel version is powered by the 1.4litre CRDi engine with maximum power of 90 PS along with 220 Nm of torque. An automatic version is also on cards but Hyundai will launch it later after seeing therespsonse for the Hyundai manual versions. Hyundai i20 Cross will be sold as a premium product, hence, Hyundai may think of omitting the base version of the car so that it can offer more features in the car. The variant to variant difference between the Elite i20 and i20 Cross would be around Rs. 1 lakh.
